Project Manager (Healthcare) – Construction

Overview

As Project Manager in our Manchester Real Estate division, you will lead end-to-end commissions for healthcare projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget and to quality standards. You will be the primary day-to-day client interface, coordinating cross-functional teams and governance to meet objectives. You’ll advise at conception, set success criteria, manage risks, and oversee reporting and finances to maximise project value. This role offers meaningful impact on health-sector developments within a globally respected consultancy. Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project management commissions
• Act as day-to-day client interface to ensure objectives are met
• Deliver projects within time, cost, and quality targets
• Advise at project conception on approaches to achieve objectives
• Establish overall project success criteria (time, cost, technical, performance)
• Plan and manage quality, safety, health and environment
• Establish governance, processes and systems for project delivery
• Prepare detailed project plan and manage procurement of resources
• Lead and facilitate cross-functional project teams
• Apply performance management with KPIs to improve project performance
• Manage change control processes
• Monitor and advise on project finances
• Coordinate project information flow with client and consultants via meetings and reports
• Produce formal project progress reports
• Interface with client and other consultants at all stages

Key requirements

• Degree qualified in relevant discipline
• Professionally qualified (MCIOB / APM or similar)
• Proven experience managing Healthcare projects, ideally in consultancy
• Open to candidates transitioning from contracting backgrounds
