Residential Property Conveyancer/Legal Executive

Overview

In this role you will manage a full residential property caseload within our national team from Harrow, handling sales, purchases, remortgages and related matters. You will leverage strong local knowledge to advise clients and cross‑refer to other departments, contributing to a high‑performing property practice. You will support and train conveyancing assistants while building lasting client relationships in the local market. This opportunity appeals to experienced conveyancers who want impact in a well‑established, accredited firm.

Responsibilities

• Manage conveyancing matters from instruction to post‑completion
• Handle residential sales and purchases
• Oversee remortgage and equity release transactions
• Review titles for freehold and leasehold properties
• Coordinate transfers of equity and matrimonial transfers
• Provide guidance and training to conveyancing assistants
• Build and maintain client relationships in the local area
• Cross‑reference clients to other departments when appropriate
• Apply knowledge of the local property market
• Efficiently manage a varied residential property caseload
• Provide cover for other offices when required

Key requirements

• Significant experience handling sales, purchases, remortgages, shared ownership, lease variations, new build purchases, Help to Buy and related matters
• Ideally 5+ years PQE (Solicitor, CLC or CILEX)
• Confident managing a full caseload independently
• Strong local knowledge and experience with residential property clients
