Associate Data Scientist

Overview

In this Data Scientist role you will apply statistical methods and Python-based techniques to real-world problems within a production-focused data team. You will work closely with experienced practitioners to deliver end-to-end data solutions and contribute to data pipelines, ensuring responsible data use. The position emphasizes impact on business problems through measurable outcomes and collaboration. This is an on-site role in London with scope to learn and grow in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver data science solutions to address business problems
• Apply statistical methods to explore data and test hypotheses
• Write and maintain Python code for processing, analysis and modelling
• Work with real-world datasets including cleaning and validation
• Contribute to data pipelines and support data engineering tasks
• Collaborate with senior data scientists and engineers across projects
• Communicate insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Support responsible, ethical and compliant use of data

Key requirements

• ~2-3 years’ experience in Data Science or similar analytical role
• Strong Python skills and experience in shared codebases
• Experience with data science / ML frameworks
• Solid understanding of data preparation, analysis and modelling
• Ability to translate data insights into practical outcomes
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
