An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to join a well-established civil engineering and construction contractor based in the West coast of Scotland.n The successful candidate will take responsibility for the safe, efficient and commercially successful delivery of civil engineering projects, managing works from initial planning through to completion.
n Key Responsibilities:
n – Manage civil engineering projects from pre-start through to handovern – Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and resourcesn – Ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme and within budgetn – Monitor programme, cost, quality and overall project performancen – Liaise closely with clients and maintain strong working relationshipsn – Work alongside the commercial team to manage costs and variationsn – Ensure compliance with health & safety and quality requirementsn – Provide regular progress updates to senior management
n The Ideal Candidate:
n – Previous experience as a Project Manager within civil engineering or constructionn – Strong background in groundworks, drainage, roads, reinforced concrete, utilities or general infrastructuren – Good commercial awarenessn – Strong leadership and client-facing skillsn – Ability to effectively manage site teams and subcontractorsn – Relevant civil engineering or construction qualifications would be advantageous.
