A Snapshot of Your Day
In this role, you will be part of the Transmission Services Sales Application and Offer Management team, managing the bid process from opportunity identification to proposal submission and operational team handover. You will ensure the timely submission of high-quality proposals that meet customer requirements while effectively managing bid resources and ensuring compliance with all tender requirements and company guidelines. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our business development initiatives and strengthen our market position.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Evaluate customer enquiry documentation to interpret the technical and commercial scope
- Prepare and develop compliant, professionally produced tender responses that meet customer requirements
- Coordinate, review and edit proposal input from various stakeholders (including sales, engineering, finance and legal
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate bid documentation, bid files, communication and pricing information and compile documentation for handover to operational teams
- Analyse and interpret contract terms and conditions, liaising with legal and commercial colleagues to complete tender returns and conduct post-tender negotiations.
What You Bring
- Experience as a bid manager, tendering engineer, proposal manager, or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel) and experience with SAP and Salesforce.
- Proven ability to plan, produce, and deliver compliant proposals within a complex business environment.
- Experience managing bids for complex projects relevant to a services business.
- Experience in scheduling and running proposal kick-off meetings and facilitating key review meetings.
