Supplier Operations Engineer – DAF Fleet Services – Devizes
We are looking for a Supplier Operations Engineer to join our highly skilled and collaborative DAF Fleet Services organisation in Devizes. As part of one of the largest DAF dealer groups in Europe, DAF is the largest truck manufacturer in the UK and continues to deliver award‑winning trucks year on year. Our team develops bespoke Fleet Management Solutions that improve operations and allow clients to focus on their business requirements.

Skills & Requirements
- HGV Technical Qualification, Level 3 or above
- Experience in Fleet Management or the Commercial Vehicle / Automotive sector is a distinct advantage
- Technical Automotive / Commercial Vehicle background or hands‑on Technician looking to move out of the workshop
- Proven track record of providing outstanding customer service
- Can‑do attitude and enjoyment of troubleshooting
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- High level of IT literacy, comfortable on the phone and using email
- Organised, resilient and able to work on own initiative
Responsibilities
You will have day‑to‑day responsibility for ensuring that maintenance costs are controlled and reviewed in line with warranty periods, previous repairs and manufacturer guidelines. You will also build and enhance supplier relationships to progress and resolve maintenance or technical queries, and collate non‑contract costs to support the customer and understand spend or cost‑trend areas for minimisation.
Working Hours
Monday – Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.
