NOVO People are working with a leading fit out company to recruit an experienced Site Manager for a project based in Belfast.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands on Site Manager who knows how to run a busy fit out site, manage subcontractors, keep programmes moving and deliver a quality finish.
With work running through to Summer 2027, this offers a solid contract opportunity with an established contractor and a competitive salary package.
We’re ideally looking for someone who can hit the ground running, with an immediate start available for the right person.
The Role
As Site Manager, you’ll take responsibility for the day-to-day management and coordination of site activities, ensuring the project is delivered safely, efficiently and to the expected standard.
Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing daily site operations on a Belfast-based fit out project.
- Managing subcontractors, trades and site personnel.
- Coordinating works to ensure programme deadlines are achieved.
- Maintaining high standards of health, safety and site organisation.
- Monitoring workmanship and ensuring a quality finish throughout.
- Liaising with the Project Manager, commercial team and other key stakeholders.
- Managing site logistics, materials and deliveries.
- Identifying and resolving issues before they impact project delivery.
- Keeping site records, progress updates and relevant documentation up to date.
What We’re Looking For
We’re keen to speak with Site Managers who have a strong background in commercial fit out and refurbishment projects.
Ideally, you’ll bring:
- Previous experience working as a Site Manager within fit out or refurbishment.
- A proven ability to manage subcontractors and multiple trades.
- Strong knowledge of construction site health and safety.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to keep a project moving.
- A practical, solutions-focused approach to site management.
- Strong communication skills and confidence dealing with site teams and project stakeholders.
- Relevant site management qualifications, ideally SMSTS and CSR/CSCS.
- Availability to start at short notice would be a real advantage.
Above all, we’re looking for someone who is comfortable taking ownership of a site, keeping standards high and getting the job done.
