Senior Quantity Surveyor

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established main contractor specialising in the delivery of high-end and super-prime residential projects across London. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business with a strong pipeline of prestigious projects and take ownership of the commercial delivery of luxury residential schemes.

Responsibilities

• Full commercial management of projects from pre-construction through to final account.
• Preparing budgets, cost plans, forecasts and monthly cost reports.
• Managing subcontractor procurement, tendering and package negotiations.
• Overseeing valuations, variations, payment applications and final accounts.
• Managing contractual matters and identifying commercial risks.
• Working closely with Project Managers, Site Managers and the wider delivery team.
• Maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
• Ensuring projects are delivered commercially and within budget.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor within a main contractor.

Required Skills

• Strong background in high-end residential refurbishment or bespoke new-build projects.
• Excellent knowledge of subcontractor procurement, cost control and contract administration.
• Experience managing projects commercially from inception through to completion.
• Strong communication, negotiation and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple commercial priorities.
