Mourne Fires and Stone is a long established, family run business specialising in the manufacture and installation of fireplaces, media surrounds and kitchen worktops. Established n 1980 the company has continued to expand, and we now seek a Skilled Stonemason with a strong background in working with granite, marble, quartz, and sintered stone.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in cutting, shaping and polishing stone surfaces, with excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cutting, shaping, and polishing granite, marble, quartz, and sintered stone.
• Operating stone-cutting machinery and tools safely and efficiently.
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship, accuracy, and safety.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a stonemason or stone fabricator.
• Practical knowledge of granite, marble, quartz, and sintered stone.
• Skilled in cutting, polishing, finishing, and installation.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• A strong commitment to quality, reliability, and safety.
