Job summary
Job purpose
To ensure the efficient and effective control of inbound and outbound warehouse parts stock. To support the provision of excellent service to customers.
The ideal person will have/be:
- Experience in a parts or distribution operation involving inventory control, goods inwards and order picking would be advantageous
- Computer literate, able to use appropriate systems and software (e.g. Excel)
- Ability to work in a small team, as well using own initiative
- Has a positive can-do’ attitude
- Ability to record information accurately and legibly
- Has a methodical approach and pays attention to detail
- Good communication skills verbal and written
- Honest disposition
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items
