Senior Environmental Health Enforcement Officer

Triumph Consultants are looking for an experienced Senior Environmental Health Enforcement Officer to join their client’s Health & Safety Enforcement Team. You will manage a caseload, investigate complaints and carry out enforcement work to protect public health and safety. Contract is for 3 months in Wembley, HA9 0FJ.

Pay Rate: £25.57 per hour PAYE

Key Requirements

• Professional qualification in Environmental Health, NEBOSH and CIEH registration.




• Current experience in health and safety enforcement.




• Good knowledge of health and safety legislation.




• Experience investigating complaints, RIDDOR notifications and enforcement action.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of health and safety investigations and enforcement work.




• Carry out inspections, site visits and investigations, gathering evidence where required.




• Take appropriate enforcement action in line with legislation and guidance.




• Prepare case files, witness statements and evidence for legal proceedings.




• Maintain accurate records and work with colleagues and partners to meet service targets.

Anticipated Length of Assignment: Unless otherwise stated (we do carry the occasional permanent vacancy) all of our roles are technically temporary, though opening assignments can be and often are, extended by clients on a longer term basis and can sometimes become permanent.
