JDR Recruitment is recruiting a qualified Accounting Technician for a Northern Ireland Civil Service assignment within The Executive Office Finance Division.
This is a varied financial reporting role covering month-end accounting, reconciliations, financial reporting and support with interim and year-end accounts.
The Role
You will:
Prepare and upload month-end journals including accruals, prepayments and deferred income.
Raise sales invoices and purchase orders.
Complete bank reconciliations, petty cash and other banking transactions.
Assist with monthly, interim and year-end accounts.
Support audit preparation and variance analysis.
Assist with fixed asset verification and IFRS 16 lease reconciliations.
Deal with financial queries from internal teams and Arms Length Bodies.
Essential Criteria
Applicants must be:
Fully qualified Accounting Technicians ATI or equivalent.
Experience with Excel, Oracle Financial Systems and financial reporting would be particularly beneficial.
Security Clearance
The successful candidate will be required to complete the relevant pre-employment checks and obtain Standard security clearance before commencing the assignment.
