A great opportunity has arisen at a client food production establishment in Bishop’s Stortford for a counter balance forklift truck operator. This is an ongoing temporary role but could potentially lead to temp-to-perm for the right person.
Paying £13.30 per hour with overtime payable after daily hours.
The working hours are Monday to Friday on a rotating shift system of 06:00–14:00 and 14:00–22:00.
Duties
- Use of a counter balance forklift to load and unload lorries.
- Safely store grain and flour on racking using forklift truck.
- Setting up, loading and calibrating machinery used in the production process of flour.
- Monitoring machinery and logging data.
- Dismantling and cleaning of machinery and production area.
The right candidate will ideally have worked in a production environment or used machinery, be able to work quickly and efficiently.
This is a food production environment, so there are very strict health and safety guidelines that must be adhered to at all times.
This is potentially a temp-to-perm position for the right candidate.
