The Opportunity

We re working with a respected and financially strong civil engineering contractor delivering highways structures and reinforced concrete projects across the South West. With secured frameworks, repeat clients and a healthy pipeline of work, they re looking for an experienced Site Agent to join their Bristol-based team. Projects typical include bridges, retaining walls, culverts, parapets and associated highways infrastructure, predominantly across the region south of Bristol.

The Role

You ll take responsibility for the delivery of multiple highways structures and RC schemes from mobilisation through to completion.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing day-to-day site delivery
• Chairing client and progress meetings
• Coordinating subcontractors and supply chain
• Leading and supporting site teams
• Producing short-term programmes and look-aheads
• Preparing and reviewing RAMS
• Managing QA and H&S compliance
• Reading drawings, specifications and technical information
• Ensuring projects meet programme, quality and framework requirements

About You

We re looking for an experienced Site Agent with:

• Civil Engineering degree or relevant qualification
• Main contractor experience
• Strong highways structures and reinforced concrete experience
• Experience working within framework environments
• Good commercial awareness
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• A practical, solutions-focused approach to delivery
