Experience supporting learnersin a Specialist FE college, a general FE college or secondary schoolenvironment
Ability to adapt supportmethods to suit a variety of learning styles and educational levels
Excellent interpersonaland communication skills
Experience of leading asmall team
Experience of providingpersonal care for students to enable them to access education
Experience with post-16curriculum pathways including vocational/ technical training andapprenticeships
Familiarity with assistivetechnology and inclusive learning tools
Level 2 English and MathsQualification or Equivalent
HLTA Status or Level 4qualification in education or learning support
Training in First Aid,Mental Health First Aid, or behaviour management or willingness to worktowards
Knowledge of Social Model ofDisability and its implementation for outstanding inclusive practice
Knowledge of SEND, includingLearning Disability and Cognitive Impairment, Autism, ADHD, PDA, PMLD andSEMH
