Data Conversion Assistant — Bodleian Libraries

Bodleian Digital Library Systems and Services is looking for a Data Conversion Assistant to improve and transform legacy datasets.

• Auditing records
• Checking data quality
• Documenting conversion processes

Salary: £32,108 to £37,338 full time equivalent, paid pro rata. At 0.5 FTE this is £16,054 to £18,669 a year.

Hours: 18.25 hours a week.

Contract: Fixed term for 12 months.

Base: Osney One Building, Osney Mead, Oxford OX2 0EW. Hybrid working can be considered.

Closing date: Noon GMT on 13 November 2026.

The role suits someone familiar with structured metadata or catalogue records, library standards and practical scripting or command line tools, such as Python or Bash. The weekly working pattern can be discussed.
