IFS Finance Functional Consultant

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced IFS Finance Functional Consultant to support the implementation, optimisation, and ongoing improvement of IFS Applications within a finance-focused environment. You will work closely with finance stakeholders and project teams to ensure IFS supports core financial processes efficiently and compliantly.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on configuration, business engagement, and being a trusted finance systems expert.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and support IFS Finance modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash & Bank Management, and Financial Reporting
• Gather and translate finance business requirements into IFS solutions.
• Support IFS implementations, upgrades, and rollouts.
• Lead or support UAT, system testing, and go-live activities.
• Provide functional support, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
• Work closely with internal finance teams, IT, and external partners.
• Support month-end, year-end, and statutory reporting processes.
• Assist with documentation, training, and knowledge transfer.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience as an IFS Finance Functional Consultant (IFS Applications / Cloud).
• Solid understanding of finance processes (AP, AR, GL, FA).
• Hands-on experience with IFS configuration and functional setup.
• Experience working on IFS implementations or major enhancements.
• Ability to communicate confidently with finance and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in manufacturing, engineering, or project-based environments is a plus.

Educational Qualification

Bachelor’s or Master’s in Finance, Commerce / MBA / CA / ICWA or equivalent.
