Are you an experienced HGV professional looking to share your knowledge with the next generation of drivers and technicians?
About the Role
You’ll join a multi-academy trust to teach and assess learners working towards HGV qualifications, combining practical instruction with classroom-based learning.
Your responsibilities will include:
Delivering engaging practical and theory sessions to HGV learners.
Assessing learner progress and maintaining accurate records.
Contributing to curriculum development to reflect current industry standards.
Supporting learners to develop the technical and employability skills needed to succeed in the sector.
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
Extensive industry experience in HGV driving or maintenance
Strong practical and technical knowledge of the HGV sector
A willingness to work towards a teaching qualification if not already held
Desirable (but not essential):
A recognised teaching or assessing qualification
Experience teaching or instructing learners in a classroom or workshop setting
