Essex County Council’s Children in Care West team seeks an experienced Locum Social Worker for a 3‑month assignment in Harlow. You will work with children in care, handling court work, court reports, care planning and occasional adoption support to improve outcomes for young people.
You’ll be a strong communicator, analytical, organised and decisive, able to manage complex cases and deadlines while ensuring safeguarding and oversight of placements. Driving and mobility are essential.
