Family Reunification Social Worker (Flexible Hours)

Southend on Sea City Council is recruiting a full-time Social Worker for the All About the Family Service on a fixed-term contract until October 2027. The role focuses on children and young people accommodated by the Local Authority, with reunification with families as a potential outcome.

You will conduct evidence-informed reunification assessments using the NSPCC framework, undertake direct work with children and parents, and contribute to court proceedings where required.
