Senior Estimator

Location: South East London

Our Industry leading client is looking to speak with experienced Estimators or Senior Estimators with a strong background in estimating and substation construction.

The role will involve preparing detailed, first-principles estimates and tender submissions for substation builds and associated civil engineering works.

What you’ll do:

• Prepare detailed, first-principles estimates and cost plans for substation builds and associated civils.
• Review technical drawings, specifications and tender documentation.
• Obtain and assess supply-chain quotations to develop competitive tenders.
• Identify commercial risks, opportunities and value engineering solutions.
• Work closely with technical, commercial and operational teams to support successful bids.
• Strong estimating and tendering experience.
• Experience pricing substation construction and associated civils.
• Knowledge of Power T&D, utilities or energy infrastructure.
• Strong commercial awareness and supply-chain engagement experience.
