- Manage project budgets, resource capacity, forecasting, timelines and delivery dependencies.
- Drive cost optimisation, operational efficiency and service quality improvements while mitigating risk.
- Establish and maintain strong project governance, including project plans, milestones, RAID logs, dashboards and stakeholder reporting.
- Provide clear, concise progress updates to senior stakeholders, highlighting delivery risks, issues, dependencies and decisions required.
- Coordinate resource planning across technical teams, ensuring projects are achievable and delivered within agreed timeframes.
- Manage business cases, project approvals, go-live readiness and formal project closure, including lessons learned.
- Oversee supplier onboarding, third-party risk, procurement, contracts, NDAs and Statements of Work, working with relevant internal teams.
- Ensure delivery complies with relevant IT controls, security standards, operational resilience, data protection and risk management frameworks.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience delivering IT Infrastructure and/or Service Operations projects within a complex corporate environment.
- Strong experience managing technology lifecycle, infrastructure change and service improvement initiatives.
- A solid understanding of IT infrastructure and service operations, with experience coordinating across infrastructure and application teams.
- Demonstrable experience managing multiple projects or workstreams across the full project lifecycle, using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Strong budget management, resource planning, forecasting and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience producing project governance and reporting for senior management, including RAID management and delivery assurance.
- A strong understanding of service transition, operational readiness, risk management and project controls.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office, Jira and Confluence.
- Degree-level education and a relevant project management qualification, such as PRINCE2, APMP, PMI or equivalent.
- Experience working within a global bank or financial services organisation.
- Familiarity with SOX controls, third-party risk management, operational resilience and regulatory compliance.
The Ideal Candidate
You’ll be a proactive, organised and commercially minded Project Manager who can balance competing priorities, challenge delivery timelines where necessary and bring structure and accountability to complex change initiatives. You’ll be confident engaging stakeholders at all levels, making sound decisions under pressure and ensuring projects deliver measurable business value.
