Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop electrical system architectures for new products and technologies, focusing on efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
- Create detailed electrical schematics, P&IDs, and system integration plans.
- Specify and select electrical components, including microcontrollers, power management ICs, sensors, and actuators.
- Conduct electrical simulations and analyses (e.g., SPICE, thermal analysis) to validate designs.
- Develop and implement testing procedures and protocols for electrical systems.
- Provide expert technical guidance and support to remote hardware and firmware development teams.
- Troubleshoot complex electrical issues encountered during development and production phases.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams via virtual platforms to ensure project milestones are met.
- Stay abreast of emerging electrical engineering trends, technologies, and best practices.
- Document designs, specifications, and test results thoroughly in a digital format.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in electrical systems design and development.
- Proven expertise in analog and digital circuit design, power electronics, and embedded systems.
- Proficiency with electrical design and simulation tools (e.g., Altium Designer, PSpice, LTspice).
- Strong understanding of control systems theory and implementation.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for remote collaboration.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Experience with cloud-based collaboration tools and project management software.
- Experience with regulatory compliance and certification processes is a plus.
