Court of Protection Paralegal
The stellar Mental Health and Court of Protection specialist firm in the region areseeking an ambitious, experienced Litigation Paralegal to join its much-vaunted Court of Protection team. This role focuses on welfare and Section 21A matters, providing high-quality advice and representation to vulnerable individuals who lack capacity.
You will assist with managinga Solicitors’ busy workload on a one to one basis. Duties includeundertakingclient visits, instructing Counsel, draftingapplications and statements, and attending court hearings alongside the Solicitor. You will ensure all work aligns with the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and Legal Aid requirements.
Applicants would ideally have demonstrable Court of Protection experience;however all experienced Litigation Paralegal’s with a passion for Court of Protection work are encouraged to apply. Strong organisational, communication, and case management skills are essential, any experience of Legal Aid processes would also benefit.
