Site Manager – EWI Cladding
Norwich – Freelance 12-Month Contract
We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Site Manager to join a well-established contractor on a major recladding project in Norwich city centre
This is a freelance position with approximately 12 months of work available and requires a Site Manager with proven experience delivering EWI (External Wall Insulation) cladding systems.
The Role
You will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of works on site, overseeing the EWI and associated façade packages and ensuring the project is delivered safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.
- Managing EWI cladding works from installation through to completion
- Coordinating specialist subcontractors, trades and site teams
- Monitoring programme and ensuring works remain on schedule
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship and quality control
- Managing health & safety across the site
- Carrying out site inspections and ensuring works meet specification
- Liaising with the project team, subcontractors and other stakeholders
- Managing site logistics on a busy city-centre project
About You
Applicants must have previous experience managing EWI cladding systems, gained with either a main contractor or specialist façade/cladding subcontractor.
You should also have:
- Strong knowledge of EWI and external façade systems
- Previous Site Management experience on recladding, remediation or façade projects
- Excellent subcontractor and trade management skills
- Strong understanding of health & safety and quality requirements
- SMSTS
- CSCS
- First Aid
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced EWI Site Manager looking for a long-term freelance contract in Norwich, with around a year’s worth of work available.
