Site Manager

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to support a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project in Plymouth.

You will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day site activities, coordinating contractors and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate daily site activities and contractors
• Ensure works are completed safely, on time and to specification
• Monitor site progress and address any issues or delays
• Conduct regular site inspections
• Maintain high standards of HSE and quality
• Liaise with project teams, contractors and stakeholders
• Ensure all site documentation and reporting is maintained

Requirements

• Previous Site Management experience, ideally within BESS, energy or construction projects
• SSSTS or SMSTS certification required
• Relevant HSE qualifications/certifications
• Strong knowledge of site safety and construction procedures
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
• Ability to manage contractors and multiple site activities
