Platform Delivery, Senior Director (Remote)

Overview

In this role you lead Platform Delivery for Medidata Services, unifying delivery across Implementation, Professional Services and COE to maximize customer value of the Medidata Clinical Cloud. You own multi-product platform delivery and governance, shaping long-term customer health, adoption and account expansion. You influence product roadmaps through strong cross-functional alignment and drive scalable, compliant delivery at scale. You lead a global Centre of Excellence and mentor high-performance delivery teams to accelerate time-to-live.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the escalation point and strategic partner for key accounts, ensuring a seamless journey from post-sales implementation to ongoing lifecycle management
• Shift the services relationship from tactical troubleshooting to strategic partnership focused on clinical trial optimisation and faster study build times
• Bridge Sales, Product/R&D and Customer Success to ensure client feedback shapes the product roadmap
• De-silo the experience by delivering an interconnected platform rather than isolated modules
• Ensure implementation blueprints treat data as a continuous stream across the trial lifecycle
• Scale the Centre of Excellence with reusable templates, governance models, and standardised study configurations
• Mentor a high-calibre implementation team, optimise resource allocation and delivery speed while maintaining regulatory compliance
• Champion internal and external change management for modern, decentralised or hybrid trial designs

Key requirements

• Extensive leadership experience in clinical trials life sciences operational delivery, including clinical technology deployment and adoption (Director or Senior Director level)
• Demonstrated ability to transform fragmented operations into scalable, structured delivery
• Experience managing global, matrix delivery teams including governance leadership and customer-facing roles
• Outstanding stakeholder management with ability to influence C-suite and product/sales peers
