We are seeking a Senior Postdoctoral Researcher to join a major international project exploring the future of visual arts education, contemporary creative practice, and interdisciplinary pedagogies within the context of the Middle East.
This exciting role will contribute to the development of a pioneering undergraduate Visual Arts BA programme, informed by contemporary visual culture, heritage, museum and gallery practices, technological innovation, and collaborative partnerships. Working within an international academic partnership, you will help generate new insights, research, and approaches that shape the next generation of visual arts education.
You will undertake and manage applied research examining contemporary visual arts practice, educational models, and emerging pedagogical approaches. Drawing on qualitative and analytical methods, you will collect, analyse, and synthesise evidence to inform curriculum development, challenge-based learning, research-led teaching, and practice-led research.
Working closely with academic colleagues, professional services teams, and external partners, you will contribute to programme development, stakeholder engagement, research outputs, and strategic thinking that will influence the long-term direction and positioning of the programme.
If you are passionate about the future of visual arts education and excited by the opportunity to work across research, practice and pedagogy, we would love to hear from you.
