Overview

As an Enterprise Architecture Consultant at Accenture ITSA, you help modernise client technology estates for the intelligence era. You co-create enterprise visions, strategies, and roadmaps aligned to business aims and drive actionable transformation plans for large-scale environments. You govern architecture through programmes, ensuring initiatives stay within guidelines while delivering business value. You work with cross-functional stakeholders to shape proposals, leverage AI and data capabilities, and communicate insights to executives. This role offers impact across enterprise-wide initiatives in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of enterprise architecture engagements to modernise client tech estates
• Assess how business strategy and industry trends drive EA changes across organisation, applications, data, infra and ops
• Co-create enterprise architecture vision, strategy and roadmap aligned to business objectives
• Develop recommendations and actionable transformation plans for large-scale tech environments with Lean/Agile principles
• Support value cases and investment justifications guiding architecture decisions
• Coordinate with business, tech and third-party stakeholders on key architectural decisions
• Provide architecture governance through transformation programmes
• Create enterprise architecture blueprints covering end-to-end applications, integrations and data
• Design and govern enterprise data and AI platform capabilities, operating models and roadmaps
• Conduct vendor and platform maturity assessments for clients
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate research and analysis with validation
• Work autonomously on defined workstreams and support junior colleagues
• Produce high-quality documents and deliverables for C-suite audiences
• Contribute to growth, knowledge sharing, training, and thought leadership within Accenture ITSA
• Build trusted client relationships and align success measures
• Support business development by shaping proposals and matching needs to Accenture offerings

Key requirements

• Experience across enterprise architecture domains: business, applications, data and technology
• Designing cloud, data-platform and AI solutions, including GenAI, with interest in emerging tech
• Knowledge of architecture governance, IT governance and frameworks such as TOGAF
• Capability in EA modelling and planning, application and technology architecture, blueprinting and roadmap definition
• Prior experience as a technology strategist or enterprise architect (preferred)
• Experience with business capability and process taxonomies, maturity assessments and mapping gaps to tech solutions
• Experience designing operating models or governance like Technical Design Authority
• Experience on major EA engagements (application rationalisation, re-platforming or modernisation)
• Experience with mergers, acquisitions and divestments
• Hands-on EA tooling experience (LeanIX, Ardoq, iServer, ServiceNow)
• Familiarity with frameworks like APQC Process Classification, Zachman, SAFe
