Overview
In this role, you design, build, and operate AI-powered tools that improve developer workflows. You will create agentic workflows, reusable skills, and tool integrations to streamline development and automate tasks. You’ll build secure, observable backend services and APIs that scale with AI-enabled workflows. You work closely with developers to understand needs, iterate from real-world feedback, and help evolve the AI development platform.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, and operate AI-powered tools and services for software developers
- Develop agentic workflows, reusable skills, and tool integrations
- Integrate AI tools with source control, CI/CD, issue trackers, and documentation platforms
- Build backend services and APIs that are secure, observable, reliable, and maintainable
- Apply software engineering practices to manage non-deterministic AI systems (evaluation, testing, monitoring, feedback)
- Collaborate with developers to improve workflows based on feedback
- Contribute to technical design discussions and evolve the architecture of the AI development platform
- Improve engineering processes, documentation, and operational practices across the team
Key requirements
- Python software development experience
- Experience designing, building, testing, and operating backend services or developer-facing tools
- Hands-on experience designing and implementing APIs within distributed architectures
- Practical experience with large language models or agentic AI systems
- Experience with Git, automated testing, and CI/CD workflows
