Overview
In this role you will lead the delivery of strategic, outcome-focused projects within the Council’s transformation portfolio. You’ll work closely with services, senior leaders and partners to plan, coordinate and deliver complex change that improves services and value for money. You’ll apply governance, manage risks and budgets, and leverage data and digital tools to drive successful outcomes. Responsibilities
- Lead delivery of strategic projects within the transformation portfolio
- Plan, coordinate and deliver complex projects with cross-functional teams
- Apply project governance and manage risks, issues, dependencies, budgets and benefits
- Use data and digital tools to support delivery
- Engage with senior managers, partners and elected members to secure outcomes
Key requirements
- Proven experience in managing structured, outcome-focused projects or change programmes
- Strong organisational, analytical and communication skills
- Ability to influence and work confidently with senior managers, partners and elected members
- Experience delivering sustainable service improvement and change
- Knowledge of governance, risk and benefit management in a project context
