Project Manager – Data Centres

Overview

In this role you will drive the delivery of data centre projects for a London client, coordinating cross‑functional teams and external partners to meet project objectives. You will work within a technically demanding environment, safeguarding cost, quality and schedule while managing risks and reporting progress. You’ll liaise with clients, contractors and stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely decision‑making. The role offers exposure to high‑specification data centre works, utilities, power and complex MEP fit‑outs, with a focus on reliable delivery and collaborative execution. This is a hands‑on project leadership position for one of the capital’s active data centre build programmes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating project activities, programmes and deliverables
• Managing relationships with clients, contractors and project stakeholders
• Monitoring progress, identifying risks and resolving delivery issues
• Supporting programme, cost and quality management
• Maintaining project documentation and reporting on project performance
• Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams

Key requirements

• Experience in project management within construction or the built environment
• Ideally data centre project experience
• Alternatively experience in utilities, power, substations or complex MEP fit-outs
• Strong communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a technically demanding environment
