Driver Hire Canterbury is seeking a reliable, experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Driver for a temp-to-perm opportunity with our client based in Canterbury. This role offers an excellent opportunity to secure permanent employment. You will initially work for Driver Hire for 5 weeks, before transferring directly to our customer’s employment, subject to successfully completing the initial period.Transport steel from Canterbury to sites across the SouthOperate a flatbed vehicle safely and professionallySecure all loads using chains and strapsWork Monday to Friday — no weekend workTypical shifts of 10–12 hours, starting at 06:00Complete an initial 5-week period employed by Driver Hire before transitioning to permanent employment with the customer
