Corporate / Private Equity Associate (1-4 PQE)
We are working with a leading US law firm on a position within the corporate team in their London office. The practice is private equity-led, and the firm has an ongoing need for strong 1-4 PQE Associates.
You will be working on a broad range of private equity and corporate transactions, including leveraged buyouts, exits, carve-outs, minority and growth equity investments, consortium and club deals, secondary directs and portfolio company bolt-ons. The team also advises on management incentivisation and complex shareholder arrangements.
The team acts for a broad range of private equity houses, financial sponsors, portfolio companies, founders and management teams on complex, frequently cross-border deals. Alongside the core private equity work, there is exposure to public and private M&A, joint ventures and reorganisations, with particular strength in technology, healthcare, energy and infrastructure.
This position is ideally suited to an individual with:
- 1-4 years PQE in private equity or corporate M&A
- Background at a leading US firm or Magic Circle firm
- England & Wales qualified
