Responsibilities

• provide technical solutions and advisory input across dam projects
• ensure delivery to cost, schedule, technical and quality standards
• contribute from front-end design through design-build phases
• work on new reservoirs (e.g., Cheddar, SESRO) and existing reservoir maintenance
• lead and coordinate with civil engineers and other technical professionals
• pursue and support Supervising Engineer accreditation where applicable
• collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve holistic technical outcomes

Key requirements

• degree-qualified engineer
• Chartered status with IEI, ICE, or CIWEM (or equivalent)
• extensive experience in dam engineering, hydraulic stresses and hydropower
• preferably Supervising Engineer accreditation (support provided)
• consultancy experience preferred
• experience managing civil engineers and coordinating with cross-functional teams
