Senior EC&I Engineer

Overview

As a Senior EC&I Engineer at Assystem in Glasgow, you will support the EC&I RE and Area Engineering Manager to deliver design packages and ensure compliance with safety, legal, and performance requirements. You will contribute to electrical services design within the nuclear decommissioning domain, collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet time, cost, and quality targets. This role offers a chance to work on regulated, high-stakes projects and to grow through internal opportunities and hybrid work. You will help shape critical infrastructure for the UK nuclear sector.

Responsibilities

• Deliver design work packages (specification, drawing, analysis, verification or assessment)
• Ensure compliance with legal and functional requirements and performance conditions within time/cost/quality constraints

Key requirements

• Proven experience in building electrical services design
• Proficiency in CDM Regulation application
• Expertise in space management, cable routing, and cable management
• Strong team player with ability to work independently under tight deadlines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Degree in a relevant discipline
