Your new role
As Financial Accountant, you will play a key role in delivering financial reporting and supporting the delivery of accurate and timely financial information. You will be involved in leading monthly and year-end reporting activities, statutory accounting and finance projects, while partnering with operational teams to provide meaningful financial insight.Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing month-end and year-end financial reporting activities
- Supporting statutory accounts, compliance and audit requirements
- Producing financial analysis and performance reporting for stakeholders
- Supporting tax and VAT compliance processes
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes, controls and reporting efficiency
- Contributing to finance transformation and continuous improvement initiatives
What you’ll need to succeed
- ACA, ACCA qualification
- Previous experience within a financial accounting, statutory accounting or reporting-focused role
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and attention to detail
- Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP would be advantageous
- Advanced Excel skills and the ability to analyse and interpret financial information
- Strong communication skills with the confidence to work across multiple stakeholder groups
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
