Technology Assurance Assistant Manager

Overview

In this role you support the growth of a Technology Risk team within a nationally recognised professional services firm. You deliver IT Internal Audit, assist IT External Audit engagements, and contribute to technology advisory work. You’ll supervise and develop junior staff and help shape strategy and ways of working. The role blends delivery, client interaction and advisory work, offering scope to influence service growth and talent development. Responsibilities

• Deliver IT Internal Audit services
• Support IT External Audit engagements
• Contribute to technology advisory assignments
• Supervise and develop junior team members
• Support business development, proposals and tenders
• Help shape strategy, operations and ways of working
• Collaborate with managers and senior leaders
• Engage with clients and manage stakeholder expectations

Key requirements

• Experience delivering technology-based assurance and advisory services
• Qualified IT Audit or information security credential (CISA, CISM, ISO27001 Lead Auditor or equivalent)
• Exposure to Financial Services and corporate clients
• Experience with SAP IT and application controls is a plus
• Confidence engaging with clients and responding to queries with minimal supervision
• Strong understanding of business risks and objectives
• Demonstrated leadership, ownership and ability to plan workflow
