Microsoft AI Team Lead (Associate Director)

Overview

As AI Team Lead, you will steer enterprise AI and Generative AI initiatives across multiple industries, aligning technology and business outcomes. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, shape AI strategies and roadmaps, and govern delivery across large programmes. You’ll work with cutting-edge Microsoft AI tools to drive adoption and tangible business impact, engaging C-suite stakeholders and partners. This role combines hands-on technology leadership with strategic governance to scale AI capabilities within a global consulting context.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise AI strategy and transformation initiatives for clients
• Define and deliver AI solutions using Microsoft Foundry, Azure AI, Azure OpenAI, Copilot Studio and Microsoft Fabric
• Oversee delivery across large programmes (scope, budget, timelines, risks, outcomes)
• Lead multidisciplinary AI, data, engineering and architecture teams
• Engage with C-suite and senior client stakeholders to shape AI strategies
• Establish AI governance, security, responsible AI and operational standards
• Drive innovation across AI, Data and Cloud and identify new opportunities
• Support account growth, bids, solution shaping, and partnerships (including Microsoft)
• Provide executive-level governance and reporting to ensure programme success
• Mentor and develop developers and teams, sharing thought leadership within Accenture’s Data & AI community

Key requirements

• Experience leading enterprise AI/Generative AI programmes
• Strong Microsoft expertise across Foundry, Azure AI, Azure OpenAI, Copilot Studio and Azure Fabric
• Solid understanding of AI architecture, LLMs, RAG, AI agents, governance, and responsible AI
• Proven large-scale delivery management (budgets, risks, stakeholders)
• Leadership of multidisciplinary technology teams
• Strong consulting, advisory, and business development capabilities
• Excellent executive communication and stakeholder-management skills
• Proven track record in complex data and AI programme delivery
