Commissioning Senior Manager (Paris)

Overview

In this role you will plan and coordinate commissioning for large-scale greenfield data centers and retrofit live facilities, based on site in Paris with regular travel. You will lead multi-site commissioning plans, coordinate with operations and construction teams, and drive readiness milestones for Ready for Sales. You’ll develop test procedures, manage budgets and reporting, and oversee vendor and external resources to optimize building operations.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement multi-facility commissioning plans and schedules
• Develop Functional Performance Test and Factory Acceptance Test procedures
• Coordinate with internal construction managers and external general contractors
• Maintain commissioning logs and tracking tools
• Input into project budgets for commissioning activities
• Prepare customer-facing reports and progress updates on RFS milestones
• Lead standardized commissioning processes and scopes based on contracts
• Oversee progress reporting and prepare commissioning test procedures and reports
• Manage supplier relations, RFPs, and vendor performance reviews
• Organize and lead periodic commissioning meetings and lessons learned reviews

Key requirements

• Proven years of data center commissioning experience (preferred)
• Proven leadership experience in a mission-critical environment (preferred)
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering (preferred)
• Experience coordinating multi-site commissioning projects
• Strong communication and customer-facing presentation skills
• Experience with vendor management and external resources
• Familiarity with commissioning procedures and test protocols (FPT, FAT)
• Ability to manage project budgets and schedule
• Experience in reporting and data analytics related to commissioning
• Experience in working with Owner Furnished, Contractor Installed (OFCI) equipment vendors (preferred)
