Factory Maintenance Manager

Overview

As Factory Maintenance Manager, you will lead day-to-day maintenance across factory operations and offices to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient performance. You will coordinate preventative and reactive maintenance, manage service agreements, and supervise maintenance staff. You’ll support regulatory audits, safety compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives with the engineering team. This hands-on, fast-paced role places you at the heart of our site’s operational excellence and mission-critical production. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to sustain high-quality HVAC manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute preventative and reactive maintenance across factory plant and equipment
• Manage service schedules and service agreements
• Maintain preventative maintenance programmes
• Line manage the factory maintenance assistant
• Coordinate general facilities tasks (building repairs, furniture moves, site duties)
• Support office manager with insurance and compliance requirements (FGAS, cranes, lifting equipment inspections)
• Line manage two cleaning staff
• Oversee facility opening/closing and alarm call-out
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, regulatory, and site-specific regulations; maintain records and documentation
• Support regulatory audits and inspections in coordination with the office manager
• Collaborate with Engineering on continuous improvement, investment projects, and implementation activities
