AI Large Language Model (LLM) Technology Lead/Principal Architect

Overview

In this role you lead as the authoritative AI architect across client engagements and internal practice, owning end-to-end AI platform design that spans classical ML, Generative AI, and agentic systems. You partner with CIOs and senior leaders to translate business goals into a coherent technical vision, guiding investments and architecture decisions. You drive cross-domain coherence by unifying domain architects and specialists, establishing production-ready, scalable AI solutions. You contribute to the firm’s AI stance through thought leadership and create reusable assets for enterprise adoption. You shape high-impact, enterprise-grade AI programs that deliver lasting business value.

Responsibilities

• Shape enterprise AI strategy with CIOs/CTOs and senior leaders
• Lead enterprise AI assessments and roadmaps sequencing investments
• Own end-to-end architectural solution for complex AI platforms
• Translate architecture principles into concrete solutions for domain teams
• Build prototypes and proofs of concept to de-risk value
• Perform tool/framework/platform evaluations and evidence-based recommendations
• Define architecture for multi-agent ecosystems, memory, and tool usage
• Establish memory as a platform service and governance for agent systems
• Set standards for high-throughput, low-latency inference and ML deployment
• Govern architecture artifacts (ADRs, reference architectures, data flows) for scale
• Lead cross-domain integration and resolve tensions to produce an enterprise-ready system
• Contribute to AI practice’s point of view and external representation

Key requirements

• Extensive experience designing and deploying enterprise-grade AI solutions (agentic, generative, classical AI/ML) on at least one cloud vendor
• Proven experience in LLM and Generative AI
• Strong background in architecting and operationalizing LLM-driven architectures
• Deep experience in ML/DL/NLP, data engineering, and large-scale analytical platforms
• Several years of hands-on experience as a machine architect in industry
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
