Maintenance team leader

Overview

In this role you will oversee the maintenance team, set priorities, and ensure Safety, Health & 5S across equipment and work environments. You will implement total productive maintenance, monitor work orders, and drive preventive and condition-based maintenance to maximize asset availability and minimize downtime. You will troubleshoot equipment, conduct root cause analysis, and implement preventive actions. You will manage assets, spare parts, purchasing, and the department budget while partnering with cross-functional teams to sustain safe, reliable operations. This role offers the chance to shape maintenance practices in a safety- and quality-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Implement and sustain total productive maintenance (TPM)
• Monitor work orders, preventive maintenance sheets, and repair logs
• Schedule and execute preventive and condition-based maintenance to maximize equipment availability and reduce downtime
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform root cause analysis to prevent recurrence
• Maintain manufacturing assets and facilities, manage parts inventory, monitor purchase orders, approve invoices, and oversee department budget

Key requirements

• Bachelor degree with minimum 3 years of progressively responsible experience
• Experience with TPM, preventive maintenance, and condition-based maintenance
• Ability to troubleshoot, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions
• Experience in asset, inventory, purchasing, and budget management
• Strong organizational and leadership capabilities
