AMHP Social Worker – Mental Health Act Specialist

Lancashire County Council in Preston is seeking an Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) to join our Adult Social Care Mental Health team. You will lead Mental Health Act assessments, make safe, lawful decisions, promote recovery, protect rights, and deliver person-centred support during crises.

Working within our 24-hour service, you will collaborate with health, police, courts and housing partners, across flexible afternoon/evening shifts, including one weekend per month.
