Commercial Associate

Overview

In this role, you will support a market‑leading Commercial Team across Manchester, Birmingham or Leeds, handling high‑quality contracts and commercial projects for diverse clients. You will work with Partners on outsourcing, supply chain and strategic deals, while applying AI-enabled tools and innovative delivery models. You’ll build relationships with major household name clients and gain exposure to allied AI and technology workstreams. This is a chance to shape how legal services are delivered through innovation and cross‑office collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Drafting and negotiating commercial contracts
• Supporting outsourcing, supply chain and strategic projects
• Advising on day‑to‑day commercial queries
• Using legal technology and AI‑enabled tools on live matters and contributing to process improvements
• Building strong client relationships across multiple sectors

Key requirements

• England & Wales qualified commercial lawyer (NQ – 4 years PQE)
• Strong technical skills
