Here at GXO Dagenham, we are currently recruiting for HGV C+E (Class 1) Curtainsider Driver to join our transport team supporting our customer, Breedon Cement, RM9 6PR. If you are looking for a new challenge and the chance to develop your career, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
You will be working on a full-time, permanent basis, Monday to Friday, minimum of 48 hours per week guaranteed pay, with start times generally between 04:00 to 06:00 and paid breaks!

- £49,192 per annum (based on 50 hours per week)
- £18.92 per hour
- Paid every four weeks – lunar pay
- Paid holiday entitlement – 25 days plus 8 bank holidays

What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Single drop pallet deliveries (typically between 2 and 3 per shift) from our Dagenham depot to retail and trade locations
- Strap down pallets of cement and secure the curtains before heading out on the road
- Maintain clear communication with the transport office regarding any issues and provide exceptional service to our customers
- Operate company vehicles in a safe, legal, and efficient manner??????? while ensuring required documents are completed accurately and on time
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Previous experience driving Class 1 vehicles is essential
- Full UK driving licence with category C+E entitlement
- Valid Driver Qualification and Digital Tachograph Cards
- No more than 6 current penalty points
