Connect Appointments is recruiting Parcel Sorters to join an established parcel distribution business based in Newbridge on a temporary ongoing basis.

What's on offer?

• Ongoing temporary position

n

• Your choice of nights or backsn
  n
  • Nights: Working 5 days out of 7, from 4am to 12:30pm

  n

  • Backs: Working 5 days out of 7, from 3pm to finish

  n

n

• Paid weekly at 12.71 per hour, increasing to 15.01 after probationary period

n

• Full training provided

n

n

As a Parcel Sorter, your duties will include:

n

n
• Loading and unloading delivery vans accurately and efficiently

n

• Picking and transporting customer orders within the warehouse

n

• Ensuring all loaded and unloaded items match relevant paperwork

n

• Reporting any damaged or missing items to supervisors

n

• Maintaining a clean and tidy warehouse environment

n

n

To be considered as a Parcel Sorter, you will need:

n

n
• Good physical fitness due to the manual nature of the role

n

• Previous experience in a warehouse or fast-paced environment is advantageous – full training provided

n

• Strong team working skills and the ability to work effectively under limited supervision

n
