Mgr Manufacturing Alliance EU

Overview

In this role you own Hershey’s external manufacturing and co-packing network across Europe, MEA and WTR, driving alliance strategy and supplier onboarding to enable growth. You collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure supply continuity, cost and risk management, and compliance across partners. You will lead through complex negotiations, contract governance, and ESG coordination while supporting new product introductions and supply feasibility. This is a strategic, cross-region position with a clear impact on Hershey’s product availability and regional expansion.

Responsibilities

• Own and optimize the external manufacturing and co-packing network across Europe, MEA and WTR
• Develop and execute alliance and sourcing strategies to support growth and supply continuity
• Identify, evaluate and onboard new external partners for NPD and business development
• Manage contracts, negotiations, renewals, and governance with partners
• Resolve complex partnership, supply, and operational issues and mitigate risks
• Oversee packaging procurement and coordinate with procurement for ingredient sourcing
• Coordinate supply planning, material availability, and production scheduling with partners
• Lead continuous improvement, KPI tracking, and best-practice sharing within the network
• Mentor and develop the team; drive training and capability development
• Coordinate ESG, compliance actions, and audits with external partners

Key requirements

• BS/BA in Engineering, Science, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or equivalent experience
• 8+ years in supply chain with exposure to co-mfg/copack management
