Lead Consultant – Golang

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Lead Consultant with strong Golang development expertise to join a 12-month engagement based in Burgess Hill.

Key Requirements:

• 6+ years of overall IT experience
• 2+ years of hands-on Golang development experience
• Strong experience in application design, software development, and testing
• Strong experience developing REST APIs for high-volume applications
• Experience working in Agile environments
• Strong experience with Git
• Experience with distributed technologies and microservices
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

Preferred Skills:

• Docker and Kubernetes
• PostgreSQL, Couchbase, or Cassandra
• GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI
• CI/CD and automated build and test frameworks
• JIRA and Confluence
• Experience with open-source frameworks or open-source contributions
• Payments industry experience
• Experience with multiple programming languages and payment technologies
