MES/MOM/MSB CoE IT Specialist (MSB)

Overview

As an IT Integration Specialist (MSB) you design, develop and support the AeroConnect Platform, collaborating with ESB and MES/MOM teams. You will drive cloud-based integration, while maintaining BizTalk V2020 until migrated to the new platform. The role combines data integration, cloud architecture and manufacturing-focused solutions across global sites. You act as a trusted partner to the business, delivering integration applications within the IT operating model and supporting production environments. This position offers international exposure and a path to shape advanced manufacturing connectivity at GKN Aerospace.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement data integration strategies ensuring seamless data flow between systems
• Orchestrate data workflows using Azure Integration Services and related tools
• Design, implement and maintain scalable data architectures for on-premises and cloud
• Translate business requirements into effective data solutions with cross-functional teams
• Create and optimize data models; manage data lakes and data warehouses (SQL and cloud lakes)
• Implement data security and compliance practices aligned with standards
• Monitor and optimize performance of cloud and on-premises data solutions
• Act as SME for the Integration CoE and deploy innovative solutions to meet requirements

Key requirements

• 5+ years in a similar IT integration role
• Extensive Windows server administration, IIS, certificates, services, firewall, PowerShell
• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker containers
• SQL database management (Postgres, SQL Server)
• Good experience with Azure technologies
• Background in designing and implementing complex integration solutions
• Experience with IT project deployments and Windows Server environments
• Knowledge of .NET, HTML, C#, XML/XSL/XSD, JavaScript
• Experience with industrial protocols (OPC/UA, MQTT, REST, Modbus) and related tools
• Understanding of IEC-62443 and IACS Security; Node-RED knowledge
• Desirable: ISA95, CNC knowledge (Fanuc/Siemens), Siemens PLCs; Siemens Opcenter/Opcenter Connect MOM; Mendix integrations
• Strong teamwork, communication, and travel willingness
• Fluent English; Dutch a plus
